We believe education is lacking as to how to experience the mountains as a woman
We want to see greater action from National Parks, clubs, brands and the mountaineering councils to see gender parity in our hiking communities
Advocacy
Through our unique knowledge and skills, we advocate to see ourselves represented in outdoor imagery, content, posters and campaigns.
We want to ensure female voices in all decision making spaces including the Mountain Training, the BMC, Mountaineering Scotland, Mountaineering Ireland, AMI, BAIML and BMG.
Storytelling
We raise up the narratives of women in the outdoors. You’ll find us holding brands accountable to see diverse representation in who they support and the narratives they tell.
Alongside this we want to consider how caregivers can also participate freely in outdoors opportunities and tell narratives of what modern day adventuring looks like for women.
Support
We provide training and bespoke consultancy to help support education narratives about female issues from periods to toileting in all education settings.
We are committed to helping leverage and provide funding and paid opportunities for those where finances are a barrier to adventuring.
